    GLIDIDUS INFERNOS INFORMATION  Empty GLIDIDUS INFERNOS INFORMATION

    Gelidus Inferos is a dimension of cold and ice, death and decay. Here is a list of all the current features:

    Mobs:


    Hostile:
    Yeti: Humanoid in form, a great lumbering force. With horns on the side of his head, beady black eyes and white fur, he stalks slowly across the wastelands.
    He has a large amount of health, damage and resists knockback. However, he is ever slow in walking speed as well as attack speed.
    He drops fur and rarely a horn.

    Ice Phantom: This transparent monster seems to phase in and out between matter. He often spawns near ruins. He has a rather low health, however can trap the player in his body, drawing out his heat (more on this later) and gains health in doing so.

    Living Crystals: Deploro's magic is chaotic, often creating abominations. This is one of such creations. Crystals given life by Deploro's magic, it flies around the wasteland, attacking all in its path. The Living Crystal's attacks shoot ice shards at the Player, cause slow and sap heat from the enemy.
    They die instantly and drop a Pure Ice Crystal and, rarely, a Amethyst Crystal.

    Boleiit, the Corrupted Stingray: The Boleiit flies along, leaving behind the same particles as the Enderman. He dive bombs the Player, doing 2 hearts in easy, 4 in normal, and 5 in hard. He poisons the player.
    He drops Poison Barbs.

    Special rule: Heat Meter


    Structures:
    Underground Forests: Two underground forests spawns per world, which are full of Overworld trees, planted by the former occupants of the realm. The Heat Meter stays stable in this environment.

    Amethyst Ruins: Ruins of pure Amethyst crystal, scattered about the wasteland of Gelidus Inferos. Chests of partially frozen food can be found here, which could mean life or death.

    Frozen statues line the caves in the depths of the realm. Chests of items may be found here. One of these per world. Smaller caves of statues may also be found.


    Terrain:
    Permafrost: Dirt with a gray tinge too it. Breaks slower than normal dirt.

    Ice Flowers: Small light blue flowers that give off light blue particles, similar to the particles of the nether portal. Drops Frost.

    Frozen Trees: They are very small due to a extreme lack of nutrients. The have turned blue and black, the leaves, sparse, brown and dying.


    Ores/Blocks:
    Amethyst Ore: Used for various things, namely the Amythyst Block. to spawn. Breaks into Amethyst Crystal.

    Oil Sand: Used for Lanterns, the torches of Gelidus Inferos. It may also be used as a fuel source in a furnace for 12 operations.


    Items:
    Yeti Fur: Used to make armor that protects against heat loss, though no completely.

    Yeti Horn: Used as a weapon raw or crafted with a stick to create a makeshift pickaxe.

    Pure Ice Crystal: Set above an empty bottle on a brewing stand creates Pure Water, which grants 1 health chunk and regeneration for 3 seconds, while lowering your heat minimally.

    Amethyst Crystal: Used to create the Amethyst Block. (More uses later)


    Poison Barbs: The Poison Barb can be shot from a bow and sticks to the enemy (like in previous minecraft updates). The barb would do minimal damage, but would poison the enemy.

    Frost: Ammunition for the Slingshot. Frost would do a half-heart of damage and 'freeze' or slow enemies.

    Lanterns: Made with Oil Sand, Amethyst Crystal, and Iron. Creates a warm glow, stabilizing your Heat Meter.

    Boss:


    Miniboss: (Will fill in later)



    Main Boss:
    The Boss of Geildus Inferos is Vargana, the First Man, a twisted by Deploro into the creature he is now. With a large blade of Amethyst, he is a deadly force to be reckoned with. He alone holds the key to this dimension's future.

    The Fight:
    A somewhat basic fight, thought deadly nonetheless. The fight has two stages, the second when Vargana reaches less that 25% health.

    Stage one:

    Deep Slash: He slashes his large blade across the battlefield, knocking back the Player and causing Weakness. The attack does a medium amount of damage.

    Frozen Stab: Vargana charges forward, blade in front of him. The strike leaves him rather defenseless, though it also does a massive amount of damage. If the strike hits, the player suffers from Frost I, which slows the player and drastically lowers its Heat Meter.

    Stage two:

    Ice Crystal Shield: Upon reaching 25% health, Vargana then backs off and a light blue shield comes over his character. This protects from 12% of all incoming damage and lowers the Heat Meter of the Player if the Player is near.

    Frost Breath: Vargana shoots ice shards from his mouth, damaging the player and causing Frost II, which slows the player and lowers its Heat Meter somewhat.



    I will update this when we get more implements into this. (NOTE: These features and NOT implemented into the game, and are just ideas of what we are gonna implement. They can change anytime.)
