ON GELIDUS INFEROS Empty ON GELIDUS INFEROS

Yesterday was eventful indeed. A wyrm attacked Newzendan and almost destroyed the entire settlement. Gelidus Eden is no longer the safe, beautiful haven it used to be. The entire world is freezing. Even the great forests have died or frozen over. Food is running out. We have already hunted most creatures to extinction. Our priests said the end was near, but I didn't realize they meant it literally.
A well was found under a glacier, melting itself out, and it apparently is from a different plane, another dimension. It was made out of a material we had never seen, and was very complex. A priest found that you could fit the idol of Incubus's eye in several compartments on the edge of the well. They did this, the fools, and unleashed the snake-like, black wyrms. Their pink eyes strike terror into the bravest men. They level entire buildings with their terrible frost breath and bite. But they weren't the worst part. There was one, a colossal Behemoth which can just walk through a entire city and cause major damage. We call it Gelidus Inferos. He only knows hatred and is quickly killing us off. The Valkyries won't help us, and have left to their lands somewhere in the Unknown.
The cold hasn't bode well either. We are being completely frozen and driven mad.

We are doomed. There's no point in fighting. We must accept our fate. But our most knowledgeable have made bodies of stone that our best warriors, scholars, kings and anyone else's important souls are to be stored in. Their mind goes into a crystal and is put in their new stone body's head. They are then sent deep down underground to a sanctuary where they shall lie dormant until something can help. Probably nothing will come, and for millions of years they will wait for nothing. Many people can't take the wait for death, so end their lives before the Behemoth does so itself.
Times are hard, but we will keep preparing for the end.
    Soon, our sorrows will end.

    Soon.
